don't remember them ever apologising for keeping worthington too long

so not expecting one this time either. But think the situations are similar. Sticking with a failing manager for too long in the hope that things will turn out alright in the end. Not necessarily an apology needed but soem indication that this won't happen again. With Hughton's record over the last 2 seasons, ANY other football club would have sacked him sooner. Stability doesn't work if you have the wrong man in charge and hopefully they have learnt this by now.
