the lst 5 minutes on sunday were hilarious - I just believe that the Champions League should be won by a team that are teh champions of their country ( last season Milan were ) and that the qualification rules where a team like liverpool , can lose in the home leg of a qualyfying round , but scrape their way to the final is ludicrous

I much preferred teh system where the Champions of each country entered th eChampions cup and could draw anyone from teh first round , far less games to worry about , far more chance of upsets , I remember Malmo , Forest etc getting to finals would not happen now

I just think the champions league is cutting its own throat , by the fact that 4 ( possibly 5 ) english teams , forur Italians , three German, spanish and French teams are in it , teams from teh smaller nations have to win three games to even get to play the 4th place team in england - you cannot tell me that is right

So for that reason - the champions league should be won by the champions of a country rather than a team that finished 4th - I will support Milan tomorrow
