I personally think we could have gone for it a bit more in the last 10 minutes but I'm certainly not pissed off about it.
We are one of the "smallest" clubs in the Prem and realistically were always going to relegated at some point. If you have one of the smallest budgets you are likely to have one if the weakest squads quality wise and have almost no margin for error - if you get a season where your signings don't work out and you get key injuries and make a few crucial cockups then your number will come up. Other small teams with far more Prem experience than us have found that in recent years (including Fulham this year despite just dodging it several times).
A bugger that it's happened but it has - key thing is to cope and get it right in the Champs quickly (look how many times Baggies have been down and up again).
Crucial thing is not to wAste the parachute payments - without a sugar daddy you are buggered once they are gone , as we discovered last time.
All togetherness a club next season - one target, no compromise!
