Spot on about Malky. Re: Neyal, no-one's blaming him at all
But it is absolute cloud cuckoo land to put someone with no previous first team managerial experience into these circumstances, this fixture list and one of the toughest leagues on planet Earth and expect - or even hope for - it to work.
We need to park the bus today, and then some. Do I think he knows how? Doubt it. Do I think he has the tactical knowledge which Hughton - whose style of play was almost unique in terms of the PL, but that was for a reason - does? I'd be very surprised.
Last season, Norwich were one of only two sides in the whole league who did not gain more possession when behind. We were set up in a unique way. Changing that overnight under someone with no experience in doing so was just never, ever going to work.
