thats just like Worthy's obsession with training. The ONLY thing that counts is what you do in competitive matches. Whether you are good or rubbish in training/friendlies is irrelevant - they are only preparation for the real thing not an end in themselves. If you get it right when it counts then the training/friendlies were great (whatever the results/performances may have looked like at the time). And vice versa.
