Worthy usually goes shopping at about 3-4pm on the day that the sales opened, with the more eager clubs up and ready for a 7am opening-that resulted, last season, with an unwanted and somewhat dusty and neglected Gary Doherty being picked up from what was left over when people like Fitz Hall had long been snapped up and taken home...

...if its really because they don't want to pay a players wages over the summer, then, for the sake of a few thousand quid, its a bit worrying, especially if it is the difference between getting the Mackens and the Scowcrofts?
