I mean, what's preposterous about a heroin addict being in charge of a counter terrorist unit and then being totally clean by the time the next series comes about. Or an alcoholic sacked for betraying his country and then being reappointed by ctu and then becoming head of ctu within a couple of hours.

I like president Logan though, he's the alan partridge of US presidents.
