The bit that really gets me
Other than his continual whining when things go wrong, and how it's never his fault when his side loses, is the media's obsession with him "Wheeling and Dealing" (Fuck I hate that phrase).
Yes, he gets all sorts of frees and has-beens...and while the media make him out to be some sort of genius (Yes it's true, he doesn't pay much for the transfer), he gets them by paying a fortune in wages. Nigel Quashie and Patrick Berger on ?30k a week? You're taking the piss!
Plus, he tends to haul the same sorry failures around with him. Ricardo Fuller, for example...he just re-creates the same side whereever he goes. What did he do when he left for Southampton but buy half his favourites from Portsmouth? Fat lot of good they did him.
