I'm not a huge fan of cumbia, but my gf will probably like it! Sounds promising so far though. I'll give it a proper whirl. Thanks pandy.
Have you heard any Instituto Mexicano de Sonido? They do electronica versions of ancient cumbia classics. They've done some very good ones. Mejico M?xico is the best album, but Pi?ata is pretty good too:
