They said that despite the goals he scored for Lisbon, you could see that for the most part, van Wolfswinkel wasn't actually very good and weren't surprised at all that he's done so badly in the Premier League.

I've tried to defend him, or at least believe that his struggles aren't his fault, but it's become practically impossible now, hasn't it?
