Amazed you've found some perspective after such a demoralising toothless defeat. Even I've had my confidence shattered and have been feeling the relegation blues all evening. Maybe that's because I've just polished off all the alcohol in the house and also maybe because I didn't sleep a wink last night then had to take three hours out in bed in the gap between dinner and MotD and so missed the chance to unwind and rethink then. Maybe it's also because my team got hammered 3-9 today and I scored an own goal. Maybe it's because Norwich frustrate the hell out of me. Russell Martin pissed me off in his post match radio interview, rebuking claims they hadn't put the effort in, as I'd faithfully gone on the resigned tone of Goreham & Sutch in the closing chunk of the commentary that I'd been able to catch. But then MotD edited it nicely to make the fans look like ungrateful, unrealistic arseholes for being pissed off and booing again. They've been doing that one since they started highlighting the calls for Hughton to go and their ridicule of McNally 'heaping needless extra pressure' on Hughton in his interview. We're not idiots, we know what's reasonable to expect and what's not exceptable. But kudos to you, Joe, you're clearly a good man and with Frankie Knuckles' mix in the background I'm hoping to restore my faith in a result at the Cottage over the next few days...
