When did you think Bony was a quality player then?

Before the season? Did you think RVW looked a 'dud' at the same time? And a nice twisting of what Hughton said as well - he said we'd already committed to buying RVW, so (quite rightly) we didn't spunk another ?12m on another forward when already having committed ?8.5.

Bony scored roughly 1 in 2 games in the Czech league and the Dutch league. RVW had a very similar (very slightly lower, for the pedantic) goalscoring ratio in the Portuguese league and the Dutch league.

And there's nothing whatsoever to suggest Hooper and RVW wouldn't do better in the Swansea side, or that Bony and Michu would be s**t for us.

So, in summary, He obviously has a lot of faults, but let's not fabricate new reasons to slate Hughton or stick the knife into RVW, eh...
