The defence should be measured on the points gained not goal difference - this would suggest that we are not a bad defensive side, but the problem would appear to be character and the ability to recover from set backs when going behind.

Leadership is lacking on the pitch.

There are few teams in the league with a better clean sheet record than us, but the goal difference suggest a different problem.
