nearly all long range goals are hit and hope
no player can hit it that accurately from that distance - you just hit it in about the right direction and hope for the best.
That's what passing move goals are actually much better quality goals - but they aren't as spectacular so they hardly ever win Goalf of the Week/Month/Season competitions.
