Ottosson's e-mail

Ottosson's e-mail is, in my opinion, the best thing I have ever read on this board and I endorse it one hundred per cent. I have followed City for 36 years and, like him, I am a reasonable, intelligent (albeit partisan) observer of our club's fortunes. I do not really agree with the amount of money in the game or the parasitical activities of players' agents etc. but I accept these thing as part of modern football, a game in which our club has generally always behaved with dignity from boardroom to pitch (which is why the Chase era is a shameful scar on all our memories). What we must make the board realise is that they are still decent, upright people doing the right thing if they remove Mr. worthington now. He's done his best and we thank him for it. What they must not do is procrastinate further to the point that it's too late. That would be negligence which would undo much of the good they have done us. More power to your Scandinavian 'pen' Mr. Foxtrot!
