Tomorrow night i'll be watching...

I'll be jumping in the car at 1130pm and driving 25kms to Brisbane CBD. There I'll meet a couple of other guys from the Brisbane Canaries/Canaries Down Under at the Pig and Whistle, have 1 pint of light beer (James Squire - The Constable 3.5%) and possibly suffer another dire game while hopelessly willing us on to something great. At the same time witnessing countless feeble attempts by various inebriated punters trying to score with the opposite sex whilst a backing track of crap 90's pop music plays loud and clear through the bar, destroying any possible hope of listening to the match on the small tv in the corner. Then at 315am I'll jump back in the car and head the 25kms back home while streaming Canary Call on my phone in the car (another pleasure) and then be back in bed for 415am, just as the sun starts to come up.

Why will I do this?

Well I feel that I have to. I don't know why I still do it but I do. It's not even an effort that any of the players or anyone at the club will be slightly aware of but an effort that I have to make. As a proud (mental) supporter of The Norwich it's my duty to follow the boys in yellow and I'll be f**ked if I'm not going to do it.

We all have to do our bit, no matter what. I'm sticking by the team come what may and you all should be doing the same.
