Reid also was the last manager to have Manchester City in their highest position in the top division

He worked wonders at Sunderland, he took them from 18th in the first division to where they were in the prem. He had an iffy season for them and was got shot of. Sunderland have never really replaced what he did. I think you can see how we he did there by their current plight
