Has anyone cancelled their Sky subscription and opted for FreeSat?

Do you need to pay anything extra or can you just pick up all the channels through the current box / viewing card?

I'm looking at cancelling Sky, however our antenna is knackered so the only way we can get TV is through the dish I presume, and I believe this means we cant get Freeview as this doesn't work through a Sky box.

Also, does anyone know if BT Sport works via FreeSat?
