Will they do it? Happens so rarely. Newcastle were seen as abhorrent for sacking him, Stoke sacking Pulis you could understand as he had been there for ages, the fans wanted out, no one in the media liked Stokeball, and had no real affection for him to have a strong opinion one way or another.

Hughton is still widely loved by the national media (apart from the Guardian). Our owners still purportedly enjoy being a club 'that does the right thing'.
