As poor and as inconsistent as we've been...
we're still averaging a point per game across the season. No reason to believe that that average will change dramatically in the last 9 games, and therefore should be enough to keep us up.
Some have suggested the last four games would be the most significant defining point of our season. They're almost irrelevant now. Sunderland, West Brom and Fulham are the biggies. Winning, but certainly not losing, those three games will, I believe, see us safe.
I also think that we will get some points from the last four games. A mixture of final places decided in title race, and WC players not wanting to get injured, could prove to be a useful time to play the big teams. Would fancy that more than having four relegation 6-pointers to play as the last matches.
