I don't dislike him as person

I just don't rate him as a manager. I never have, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was fairly new to it and would learn. But it is now clear that he lacks the capacity to learn and will never make a top-notch manager. I'd like him to go now because i think it is in everyone's best interests, including his (he doesn't look or sound as if he is enjoying it at all)
