all I can say is that the board endured what I did on Saturday and they have done nothing. I'm not clear why yet another defeat and another piss-poor performance should make any difference.
And quite honestly, I think if they wait another week it may be too late. They have have to find a manager get him in, he has to get his coaching team in, he has to assess what he's got, find out who is staying, decide on his targets, decide what to do about Davenport and Safri and Wright, all ideally so that he can spring into action as soon as the transfer window opens. Seems a big ask to me. I felt all along that if Worthy was still in charge when we went to Wolves then it might very well be too late. And so it appears.
