I don't see why a defeat at Crewe would change anything

so I don't accept the premise. Frankly we are unlikely to play any worse than we did at Wolves or on Saturday, they have clearly decided that stability and continuity are all. Which is odd, since as regards the players stability and continuity are clearly not worth a bucket of piss in the eyes of the manager.
The only thing that is likely to work is direct action by the fans. In the first case a boycott of West Ham.
