1. Barclays end, standing, I believe it was 0-0, so looks like it was Sat 26 Aug 1989, which sounds about right as I only got up there during school holidays when I was a kid. Mum dropped me off outside, I walked up to the turnstile, paid on the day and walked in for about a quid, stood on the terrace on my own, surrounded by adults who all seemed massive at the time. Was s**tting myself but was hooked, even then - mum thought I was mad but I'd been begging her to let me go next time we were up there. Tried learning OTBC but had no idea what every one was singing...I think I could get roughly:

Kick it off! erm erm erm
Have a mermer something
La la la, la la la, bravo win or die, etc.

2. Was nothing to write home about but was chuffed to have got it out of the way all the same. Pulled at the pub while out with mates, it lasted about a week (the relationship, not the act)
