I think it was knitted jesus who talking about it. The only way to get an accurate measure of shale gas reserves is to drill it. You can throw as much geophysical tools as you want from the surface but they don't tell you the whole story. Cuadrilla did 2 wells? 2 wells! That will tell you about 3/10's of f**k all. Santos have around 325 development wells in Fairview, QLD.

If they really want to know what the Bowland shale has then they need to get drilling there.
