...when there was an existing arrangement in what isn't a massive pub to start with. Yeah it was a bit small, but you never need that much room in a gents as it's an in-and-out business unlike the ladies who prefer more luxury and room, so seems odd to cram them in there instead. More kitchen space I presume? I think they closed up the sheltered external car port type thing that they used to do their barbeques from (before they did them near the roadside. That might have been an Adnams move too though, can't remember. They did at least extend the decking out the back. Ah well, whatever they do to the structure and layout, they'll always serve a great choice of beers!!
