Fucking officious, over-zealous, over-the-top, hypocritical, power-tripping no-marks.

The goons that act as stewards at Derby County are a disgrace. They without doubt inflame conflict and situations amongst away supporters with their heavy-handed, no-common-sense approach.

I didn't buy their excuses for ejecting one for 'foul and abusive' language, and the other for blatantly drinking alcohol in his seat. There were several more ejected for standing...when home supporters were allowed to stand unchallenged for the entire duration of the match. And why they felt it necessary to assign 3 stewards to each section as well as the line of stewards and police along the bottom of the stand to stare and scowl at us for 90 minutes like f**king school-children will only ever be best known to themselves.

The worst and most un-necessary over-policing of an away section I have ever seen in 30 years of going to football. How people change when they pull on a flourescent yellow coat in a stadium.
