...CH gave him his return match at home when the feeling was positive to make sure that whole debacle was smoothed over in the best possible way, so that WH was over the hump/awkwardness and could go on to devastate Villa in the next game? I read PL rested GH in their last game, so perhaps lining him up for similar vs us. Could be fireworks in that game!
Prob reading too much into it, but perhaps not... games within games... mind games & man management, in-house and inter-club...
