he was crap at Blackpool. He was only successful here because he was given loads of money to spend compared to his predecessors and rivals. I can't believe any club in a similar position ie. about to spend loads of money would appoint him and not someone better. Apart from spending loads of money on an endless stream of players in the hope that by the law of averages he'll stumble across a successful combination he doesn't offer much as a manager. He'll never be able to make the most of limited resources because that would require some degree of tactical acumen.
