We're talking about this season. They have spent the same on wages and transfers as us.

Regardless, their net spend from the past five seasons has been ?32 million. Ours has been closer to ?50 million.

Maybe they have made bigger financial losses, but that has far more to do with debt and loan issues from the past where they went overboard. So nothing to do with the current playing budget.
