Spotted their name in the Europa League group tables tonight. Had to Google to read about the sponsorship. Was quite shocked at the brazen attitude of their new owners. Puts Vincent Tan@Cardiff, the Hull City Tigers hoo-hah and the whole Wimbledon into MK Dons thing into perspective. Good luck to SV Austria Salzburg. For those that stuck around they have at least gone on to win their league a further four times to add to their previous three titles and the cup for the first time after being runners up four times prior. Though of course questions would have to be raised about the standard of opposition in the Austrian Bundesliga, especially given their large financial backing.

Given recent local news about Redwell Lager being threatened by court action, it seems the big bullies know no bounds of common decency when it comes to attempted commercial monopolisation.

The people who drink their awful energy drink tend to be pricks as well, I find. And how on earth did they get accepted into mainstream (alcoholic) drinking culture? I suppose those same pricks that were drinking vodka RBs then moved on to Jager bombs. I also suppose they wanted to get a druggy high from their drinking without actually snorting any speed or cocaine. Either way, it just helps them to be an even bigger prick for much longer into the night. Also helps to remind me why I steer clear of the mainstream bar culture.
