This is the relegation clash of the midweek fixtures. Both hover just above the bottom three, and this game may put distance between either, or both clubs, and the drop zone.

Winning at Villa was a magnificent results and Kevin Nolan is making up for his two red cards with crucial goals. Likewise Norwich's great draw with Man City.

It is tough making a call on Norwich's prospects. They have nine clean sheets this season, equal best record of their relegation rivals. Conversely they have only scored four in their last nine league matches. Solidity versus goals.

How that equated to getting the points they need to stay up, who knows, but my punt is that they will survive, only just. In which case it is job done for Chris Hughton.
