Can't speak about the Hudl, never used one. But, the Nexus 7
has the best screen of any 7-inch tablet on the market, bar none. I don't think you'll find a 7-inch tablet with a faster processor either.
No SD Card slot, so you're limited to whatever memory you buy up-front. Mrs B has got the 32GB. It is an awesome bit of kit. Stock android is a bonus (meaning that no other manufacturer has branded it with their own stuff. Samsung, HTC, Motorola do this and it is evil).
I would go for the more expensive Nexus 7, but that's not to denegrate the Hudl - for all I know it is a tremendous tablet too. It's certainly significant;ly cheaper - so if that's a big factor, that might be the one to go for.
