I think the priority for all owners/boards is to stay on the Premier League gravy train.

No matter what they might say about playing good football.

Up until about 16.05 today I'd have said Hoots probably would have kept us up, albeit in the most mind-numbing manner possible.

So they've gambled on him doing it, as the opportunities to sack him have been numerous - but it's probably far too late to act now.
