I would take my chances with another manager
I know there is 'no one' available and be careful what you wish for as the next guy could be worse (really?)
But i would like to at go down having changed the manager and the board showing that they are trying rather than carry on with this manager, this style or play and his tactical brain.
What was it Einstein once said? 'Madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result' - i feel this is what hoots has been doing for past year.
All inners said give him till xmas before they would turn and the new team needs time to gel. How much longer do we give him after over a year of dross and if the players still aren't playing how long do we use the 'time to gel' excuse. Blaming players is all well and good but i think this team is worthy of breaking into top ten, if they are just above relegation you can blame players but ask why arent they playing? - do they not want to give their all? It all points to poor management which i thought was shown by houghton after villa game when he said 'i thought ricky would have taken the pen' well lucky your not the manager to make those kind of decisions... Oh wait. so who is making the managerial decisions
Fact is we came up with swansea and they have moved forward and we have gone backwards. Southampton came up and have flown past us in style and points.
I can see it, fans can see it. Why cant the board? Are they waiting for some season tickets to be thrown?
A nice guy would know he's out of his depth and walk.
