been ok if boring

think I'm going to abandon it a day early though. Too cruel to have a dry Friday on Jan 31st. Have a long-owned bottle of Barolo that may crack open, if Mrs Hawes is up for a glass or two.

roth wine-lovers - how long should a ?20-ish bottle of Barolo bought 5 or so years ago last? Do I need to get stuck in before it goes off or whatever wine does? Am I probably already too late? Or would it get better if I left it?
