I agree with earlydoors

Villa aren't going to permit the spending of their transfer budget on winding people up and playing games. If Wes goes, then he needs to perform for them otherwise it reflects badly on Lambert.

Signing Holt isn't undermining us. It's a sign of someone desperate and out of ideas - craving a has-been who will offer nothing like what he did for us.
