I didnt see much backlash when Tony Pulis was sacked by Stoke.
I think most people excepted the fans had grown tired of that brand of football regardless of success.
In all reality this is as good as it gets in terms of success, so maybe the fans want to at least watch exciting football even if the points total/finishing position might be the same or slightly lower.
