I think he has a tendency to move into positions that his team mates SHOULD be crossing to

...and not where his team mates ARE likely to put the ball. This is more a problem with communication between the midfield and Wolf, rather than a sign of his own lack of ability. In the cup game at Fulham, he was probably the only player attempting to create chances - albeit for other players, when they should have been creating more chances for him.
