Safri situation

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Safri situation at the moment?

Last week, as I understand it (someone put me right if I'm wrong), he pulled out of the Coventry game as he was feeling 'fatigued' - or so we've been told. Now, that to me is the first sign of someone lacking commitment, especially to someone like Worthington who would value committment and loyalty over quality any day of the week - thus to me it sounds like despite Safri's quality, his days at Norwich are numbered. Now this doesn't surprise me, nor do the comments coming out of Carrow Road this week about 'a settled team', suggesting Safri will be out now as he won't be here during January as he will be at the African nations Cup - so he may not play until then. Throw into the mix the fact his contract expires in July 2006 thus letting him leave for free at that time (unless he we have an option on him for another year - which I'm not aware of), it makes sense for us to sell him in January, to get some cash in for him.

Thus, has Safri started his last game for us?

Comments?
