We've tried to get centre backs from abroad that are a genuine step up - Adlerweireld/Ranocchia, but they are just not interested in coming to Norwich.

We can't sign any first choice Premier League defender, because almost every other team in the league pays higher wages than we do.

So we are limited to the best players in the Championship - or gambles from abroad. Unless we increase our wages to 50k per week - which would probably make us interesting to the likes of Adlerweireld - it's going to be difficult to continue progressing. Not sure if it's worth gambling with the clubs future.
