I have some sympathy for Wes
He?s probably made quite a few quid in his career and could quite easily have it easy at Norwich, turn up for training and play once in a while and collect his few grand a week.
Given that he?s contracted to summer 2015, I expect the club were thinking that they could perhaps get a fee for him at the end of the season. Perhaps Wes was. He could have hung on for a few months, got a move and had most if not all of the remaining year of his contract paid off.
My assumption is that Wes must really have had enough; he?s going to give up 18 months wages to get out of Norwich six months earlier than he might have done.

- How is he giving up 18 months wages he he signs a 2 or 3 year contract at another club? (n/m) (NCFC) - trianglepatch, Jan 21, 22:49:23
- Add to that the chance to play more for his country this year (n/m) (NCFC) - roedtonowhere, Jan 21, 22:46:25
