I can see the sense in Gutierrez singing.
Played left, may give Olsson more freedom to overlap, played right may give Snodgrass a rest who has been pretty gash since he got injured. He also covers for RB where both Whittaker and Martin have been inconsistent.
Clearly I'd rather we were signing young and exciting with a resale value, but Guitierrez is likely to be cheaper than your Inces or Zahas (sic) (for which the competition is too hot) and hopefully leave some transfer budget for the other positions we need (too many to list).
I'm a committed outer of long standing, but really cant see a lot to be unhappy about with this one.
