We were still wide eyed with Premiership bling, hope against adversity and all that.

Now, two seasons on, we're normal old Norwich, not expected to be in the bottom four, not expected to do anything.

Can't possibly have predicted what would've happened under Lambert, but I'll tell you something I'm less sure we'd have kept on rising had he stayed with us than I was a year ago. There's a very real chance we could be of exactly the same opinion as Villa fans are at the moment. Ask them for their opinions on a Lambert season, and I'll bet they won't say 'extremely high excitement levels' as being one of the main things...
