Because I agree: relegation, in my view, would be an absolute disaster, featuring zero positives whatsoever.

I still remember the assumptions folk had in Summer 1995 and 2005 that we'd bounce back up, or at least be bang in contention scoring tons of goals and winning every week. Didn't quite work out like that.

What I *thought* you meant, though, was a reminder of how generally awful our record's been over the last 20 years or so - meaning I fear you may lapse back into "we're not doing badly by our historical standards" if this time next year, we're mid-table in the Champ. As is perfectly possible.
