I was surprised about the quality of Wigans back up players, i think Jewell must have all the teams from the bottom/youth level playing the same formation and style of football and it seems to have worked!
One thing i think has helped Wigan was teh fact that they COULDNT attract many players in the summer, instead of making wholesale changes to a team high on confidence he just added experienced/Proven Prem players in important positions, EG: De Zuew & Henchoz, Damo and Camara. It seems to have worked a treat, by adding quality and not destroying team spirit.
He could have gone and signed a load of foreigners who have never played in the Prem who would have flopped!
You are right though, next season will be teh real test if they stay up!
