However crap mcVeigh plays though,

he will still control the ball well consistently and be able to play a simple pass - which is more than any of our other midfielders at the moment. He will also run at players and find space - linking the midfield to the attack - encouraging playing the ball on the floor. He should definitely start against Derby - preferably in the whole behind Ashton and Hendo.
