Bruges / Brugge is lovely, but of course there are even nicer places in Yurp...

Salzburg, Innsbruck, Trier, Venice, Verona, Syracuse, Dubrovnik, Florence just to name a few I have experience of.

Must say I prefer the smaller places like Bruges to the standard list of top cities though - Paris, Rome, Budapest, Prague, Vienna etc all a bit overrated IMO.
