The 'what do you expect in those conditions' argument is just pathetic, we play like that almost all of the time away from home, and often at home, anyway. I castigate Hughton because he's taken us backwards with the most expensive squad we've ever had, does play turgid football and the best thing that even the most ardent Hughton supporter could say about his results is that they just about reach the minimum expectations.
