Eeninall. Just taking a fillum break

Thanks to the magic of home entertainment, I have enjoyed Inception, Little Miss Sunshine, Pheasant and all the trimmings, and am currently a wee way into Donnie Darko. The third one isn't a film, it was my dinner. what a top day.

I haven't watched Donnie D for a few years now, and I'm still astonished by how wonderful it is to sit and look at. I'm aware that there are many who don't like it - my daughter among them - and this is as mystifying to me as when someone says they don't think (insert name of gorgeous woman) is beautiful, or football is boring, or they don't like tomatoes. It's overpoweringly good, in my humble opinion. So I'm taking ten mins out, to cleanse the visual palate, get it in all its glory.

Are we all OK, then? Everything good, for everyone?
